A district heating connection is particularly advantageous in the following areas:
Apartment buildings, public buildings and businesses
New construction projects, refurbishments and renovations
If you would like to convert your existing heating system
This connection option is ideal for you if the district heating pipes are already installed in your street and you just want to connect your building.
This connection option gives you the flexibility to prepare the district heating connection in your building today and have it connected to the district heating network at a later date.
This connection option is ideal for you if the district heating network has already been installed in your street and you only need to connect your building.
Before we start, you will receive our offer, which takes the following general conditions into account. Once you have placed your order, we will carry out the work together with qualified partner companies.
Concerning your district heating connection network, costs for the house connection itself and a contribution towards the building costs of the district heating network ("Baukostenzuschuss" / BKZ) are incurred. Your house connection, your building cost contribution (up to 100 kW system capacity) and the flat-rate share for the construction of your house connection (in the case of co-ownership shares per house connection) up to a route length of 30 metres from the property boundary to the house transfer station will cost you a lump sum of 3,210.00 euros gross. This was unanimously decided by the Grünwald municipal council in order to facilitate easy billing for customers within defined capacity ranges.
In the case of larger properties, a length of 30 metres is often not enough to reach the respective building from the property boundary. Of course, EWG will then also lay the additional pipes that are necessary for the house connection on your property.
This connection option gives you the flexibility to prepare the district heating connection in your building today and have it connected to the district heating network at a later date.
If you opt for "Hausanschluss Flex", you conclude a connection contract with EWG for the installation of a district heating connection in your house. EWG lays the house connection pipe up to the inside wall of the building and connects the pipe to the main pipe in the course of the network expansion. This creates an optimal operating condition of the supply line for the later full commissioning of the pipeline:
Heat already flows through the house connection via an overflow valve. The house transfer station is not yet installed during this construction phase.
Like all EWG customers, "Hausanschluss Flex" customers also receive the one-off energy-efficiencey subsidy of 1,000 euros from the Grünwald municipality when the heat transfer station is commissioned. The commissioning report from the heating installer serves as the basis for payment. The 30 metres of the house connection pipe are also included in this package. Customers then pay neither a consumption charge nor a metering price.
The capacity price (Leistungspreis) according to the EWG's current price sheet is paid on a pro rata basis:
In the event that the "Hausanschluss Flex" customer does not conclude a heat supply contract with Erdwärme Grünwald GmbH after this ten-year period, the following arrangement has been made: The customer assumes the full building costs for the creation of the house connection. The cost components are of course fixed transparently in the contract.
Upon application, the Grünwald municipality subsidises each geothermal connection with a lump sum of 1,000.00 euros. For you, this means a further reduction of the house connection costs.
To apply and for questions about the subsidy programme of the municipality of Grünwald, please contact the environmental office of the municipality of Grünwald at +49 89 64162 414.
You can find the entire subsidy programme of the municipality of Grünwald here.
The Federal Grant Programme for Efficient Buildings – "Bundesförderung für effiziente Gebäude" or BEG – combines previous support programs for the promotion of energy efficiency and renewable energies in the building sector and supports, among other things, the use of new heating systems, the optimisation of existing heating systems, measures on the building envelope and the use of heating optimisation.
The BEG consists of three subprogrammes:
The prerequisite for the maximum subsidy is the involvement of an independent energy consultant and the application before commissioning the provider as well as your heating installer.
