Seismic monitoring
The exploitation of the deep subsurface using hydrothermal geothermal energy can lead to ground motion (induced seismicity), which usually occur in the area of so-called microseismicity.
This means that from a scientific point of view these are earthquakes, but they are only recorded by measuring devices and are as a rule not noticeable to humans.
