Erdwärme Grünwald has already won over 2,000 heating contract customers for geothermal energy; this means that around 3,500 Grünwald residential and commercial units are already connected to district heating today – from single-family homes to municipal properties such as schools, kindergartens and the leisure park to major customers such as Bavaria Film, KGAL, Schlosspassage and others.

Our geothermal plant has been awarded the title of "Goldenes Kraftwerk" ("Golden Power Plant") two times, in 2018 and 2019. Our nearby heating plant has been awarded "Goldenes Heizwerk" (Golden Heat Plant") in 2019.
